We are told that everybody is exactly the same, so why separate sport leagues for females?

Just today for example on "Dish TV", a female only Pool, Bowling and Golf tournament...NO men allowed, now I find that very "sexist", if the women can qualify they can get into the men's games, but if the men can't, they are not allowed to drop down to the female leagues. Where is the "equality" on this? Women have proved they are equal in tennis, the #1 ranked female tennis player, Billie Jean King, female 21 year old beat Bobby Riggs, a 51 year old Dentist that wasn't ranked in the top 1,000 players in the USA.
