Why was berba snubbed for the final?

I understand that Chicharito and Rooney have played well together all season but Berba went out of favor very quickly. He was scoring goals by the bucket when he started not being picked. Did he have a problem with Fergie? Would have been worth atleast picking him for the bench against Barca!
